New Delhi: Of late, television actress Anikta Lokhande has been in news for all personal reasons and not professional ones. Her breakup with long time boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput gave a lot of fodder to gossipmongers to talk about.
Post the split, Ankita seems keen to revamp her avatar. Her social media profiles are filled with glamorous pictures of hers and at the screening of ‘Sarbjit’, she also accepted that she is indeed happy.
Looks like, Ankita has finally realised that she also needs to get back to work, if she wants to stay in news for all the right reasons. It was suggested that she is reading many scripts and might land herself a role in a Bollywood movie soon.
And maybe all her hard work might just be bearing fruits.
If media reports are to be believed, Ankita is trying all she can to land a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much talked about project ‘Padmavati’. A report published in a leading entertainment portal suggests that the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress had a really long discussion with SLB.

Now, grapevine is rife that actress Deepika Padukone will be SLB’s muse in this period drama. ‘Padmavati’ is the story of Chittor’s legendary queen who jumped in a pyre of Jauhar to escape ruler Alauddin Khilji.
Well, while we are unsure what role Ankita is trying for in this movie, it would be a big break for her if she manages to do that. Let us wait before hearing any official confirmation from SLB or Ankita herself.
Ankita and SSR, broke up for reasons still unknown to media. As of now, Sushant has also moved out of their love nest and is staying in a posh apartment in Bandra.
