Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has refuted the reports of rumoured tiff with the head honcho of Yash Raj Films Aditya Chopra for not casting him in ‘Befikre’ as promised.
“It’s just the three years of contract we were supposed to do and it was over”, Sushant told an entertainment portal
The ‘M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story’ actor had signed a three years contract with YRF in which he did two movies with them – ‘Suhdh Desi Romance’ and ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’. Both the movies, interestingly, did an average business on the box office. The third movie was supposed to be Aditya Chopra’s upcoming directorial ‘Befikre’. But the it went to Ranveer Singh. This was said to be the final nail in the falling relationship of SSR and YRF.
On the other hand, it was also said that Sushant’s rumoured tiff with Aditya Chopra also took a toll on his ex-flame Ankita Lokhande’s big Bollywood debut. Ankita had, reportedly, auditioned for ‘Sultan’ for the role of Aarfa, which was played by Anushka Sharma in the movie.
Currently, Sushant Singh Rajput is busy promoting his upcoming movie ‘M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and is quite excited about it. The actor will be portraying the role of ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. A Neeraj Pandey directorial, the movie is will hit the theatres this Friday.
