Sunil Grover, who has reportedly called it quits to “The Kapil Sharma Show”, performed live at Delhi on April 1 and, mesmerized the audience with his excellent comic timing.
The popular comedian proved his calibre as his gig enjoyed full attendance. Sunil’s dual avatars on the show, Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi created magic and, the spectators were amazed all the way.
Recently, the comedian said that he was extremely grateful for the overwhelming support.
In an interview with DNA, Sunil said "I've always been attached to the idea of performing live. Now I am more convinced than ever that there is a lot to be explored in the live medium.”
"We got a full house and an enthusiastic crowd. I can't tell you how grateful I am for the love I've received," said Mr Grover talking about his Delhi Show, where his co-star of “The Kapil Sharma Show”, Kiku Sharda also joined in.
Despite his exit from Kapil’s show TKSS, Sunil is hopeful of a return to television.
“I haven’t given up television. In fact, I had a lot of fun shooting for the Indian Idol 9 finale this weekend.
Sunil’s Indian Idol gig was a part of his contract with the channel and not due to TKKS.
"This show was planned long before the entire episode (the controversy with Kapil) happened. I've been performing live for years now. That won't change," DNA quoted Sunil as saying.
Earlier, Sunil took to Twitter and posted a heartfelt message for his fans yesterday where he opened up about his future and his relationship with son Mohan.
