New Delhi: Kapil Sharma’s new show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ (TKSS) has been in the limelight since the beginning. Kapil had shifted to Sony TV after he got into a tiff with Colors channel and his popular show ‘Comedy Night With Kapil’ was replaced by ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’.
However, soon after TKSS went on –air the show fell into the controversy trap when nursing staff from Punjab medical colleges and hospitals protested against the comedian-turned actor Kapil for inappropriate portrayal of the nurses on the show.
If this was not all, here comes another buzz.
As per the gossipmongers, Kapil’s on-screen wife Sumona Chakravarti is planning to quit the show.
According to the media reports, the actress is miffed with the makers as they are planning to introduce a new character on the show who will play Kapil's love interest.
The buzz created a huge disappointment amongst the audience.
However, when Sumona was quizzed about her leaving ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, the actress vehemently denied the reports.
“No, I am not quitting The Kapil Sharma Show. I enjoying my stint on TKSS and I am still part of the show,” Sumona told a leading daily.
Well, that is indeed a sigh of relief for Kapil’s fans.
