Director Sujoy Ghosh who had casted actress Vidya Balan in numerous films seems to be awestruck with her charisma right from his first meeting. The actor revealed that he wanted to work with Vidya from the day when he met her for the first time on the sets of ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ in 2007.
Sujoy recalled that he saw the actress in an ad after that when he met her on the set, something about her appealed to him as he wanted to work with her. Talking about his reason to cast Vidya in his movies, the director said that he was not a trained filmmaker and Vidya helps him by taking on responsibility for certain things.
He further said that the actress takes the load from his shoulders. He also praised her acting skills and stated that the lady is extremely talented. The director wished to work with the ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ actress in future also.
Sujoy said, “she is my friend so as much as possible, I want to keep working with her.”
Sujoy had previously collaborated with Vidya for ‘Kahaani’ and ‘Te3n’. Now, he is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Kahaani 2’ which also stars Vidya in the lead. Along with her, the flick also features Arjun Rampal in a pivotal role. The film is slated to release on December 2.
