Sui Dhaaga: Meet Mamta and Mauji in theatres on September 28. Check out the new still

September is going to be great for Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma fans as their film Sui Dhaaga will be hitting the screens. The duo have been sharing pictures from the sets and several behind the scenes pictures of the Sharat Kataria film also leaked out on the social media. On Wednesday, Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan dropped another still from their upcoming film on Instagram. The picture has the actors in their Mamta and Mauji avatar. They can be seen looking at each other with a beaming smile planted on their face.

Anushka Sharma is wearing a bright yellow saree while Varun Dhawan looks convincing as Mauji in a carrot red shirt. He is sporting a thick moustache for the film while Anushka has shredded her glamorous diva avatar for Sui Dhaaga.

The 'October' star took to Twitter to share the photo, writing, "Are you ready to meet Mamta and Mauji? Meet them in theatres near you on 28th September #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia | @AnushkaSharma | @yrf ."

Anushka Sharma wrote, “ममता और मौजी से मिलिए २८ सितम्बर को अपने नज़दीकी सिनेमा घरो में!”

'Sui -Dhaaga' is based on the stories of self-reliance and high spirits of the two central characters, Mamta and Mauji, rooted in an earthy town of India. It is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's 'Make in India' ideology, which is being campaigned by the Government of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The love story is slated to hit the screens on September 28.
