Actors Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson are all set to shoot high octane action sequences for their upcoming film ‘2.0’. The action scenes will have lots of aerial work that will be filmed on a grand set constructed on the outskirts of Chennai.
Amy has recently resumed the shooting of the film and will be seen performing stunts with the two stars. The film that is being made with a grand budget has sourced the equipments from Cirque du Soleil which is one of the largest theatrical companies. The makers have also approached stuntmen from Berlin to perform the mid-air action scenes.
After completing the shooting, the team will star working on VFX. The movie is shot in 3D. Reportedly, Amy’s portion will be completed by next month but Rajinikanth and Akshay has to dedicate some for time for it.
The actress recently revealed to a leading daily that she took the help of yoga and meditation to build the strength needed to perform the stunts. She added that the film will be having lot of flying, air flips and aerial stunts.
With actors giving their blood, sweat and tears to the project, people can’t wait for the outcome.
Directed by S. Shankar, ‘2.0’ is the sequel of ‘Enthiran’. The project has been bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
