Veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi has passed away in Dubai where she had gone to attend Mohit Marwah's wedding. She was 54. Sridevi's brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor confirmed the news. The actress who was with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi at the time of her death suffered a cardiac arrest late on Saturday night. Officials in Dubai said that her autopsy has been completed and the mortal remains will be brought to Mumbai today, as the family awaits the report. Sridevi's body will be kept at Versova's Bhagya bungalow from 9 am-11:30 am for visitors to pay their tribute. Bollywood mourns Sridevi's death. Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor are back from Dubai. Other Bollywood celebrities have started gathering at Anil's residence.
Remembering Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor told Hindustan Times: '' We will miss her, no female star has achieved such glories.''
Film Director & Producer, Anurag Basu said, ''It's really shocking. For the longest time in the morning I thought it's a rumor. She had groomed her daughter & made her what she is today, it will be sad that she will not be able to watch her on screen. Life is unpredictable.''
Mourning her death, actor Vivek Oberoi said, ''It's a big loss not only for all film industries of India but also for the nation. She was a legend of the film fraternity. As an actor I think my journey is incomplete because I didn't get to do a film with her. Her name, her work will live on forever.''

Sridevi's stepson Arjun Kapoor has reached Anil Kapoor's home in Mumbai along with other Bollywood celebs.
According to an Airports Authority of India source, a private jet is being flown to Dubai to carry the late actor's mortal remains. The aircraft which will bring Sridevi's body back to India is likely to depart from Mumbai around 1 pm and will arrive in Dubai at 4 pm. It is expected to reach Mumbai around 8 pm. However, Anil Ambani has offered to fly back the kith and kins of Bollywood legend's back to India on his private jet from Dubai.
It is being said that the medical certificate has not been issued by the hospital in Dubai.

If latest reports are to be believed, the veteran actress fell on the bathroom floor of her room and her chest started paining. She was then admitted to Rashid hospital.
Sridevi has been popularly hailed as one of the finest actresses of Indian cinema. She was critically acclaimed for her phenomenal work in movies like Sadma, Chaalbaaz, Mr. India among many. Just like the entire nation, the news of sudden death of the veteran actress has shocked the industry.
Sridevi who made her Bollywood debut with Solva Sawan in 1978, was last seen on the big screen in revenge-drama Mom, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. She shot for a special appearance in superstar Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film - "Zero" - which releases in December.
A versatile actress, Sridevi had worked in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada cinema.
