Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor made huge headlines recently for “auditioning” in a dance reality show. Buzz had it that the star kid gave an audition for Remo D’Souza’s Dance Plus 3 but no one noticed her. Now, doting mother Sridevi has come to the forefront to speak on the ongoing matter. The veteran actress, who will be seen next in Mom, rubbished the news and said, it was just a rumour.
The English Vinglish actress said that her daughter didn’t participate in any show."Khushi is not participating in any kind of dance class or any show. It is not at all true. We are really surprised… where this came from," Sridevi told IANS here while promoting her forthcoming movie "Mom".
She added: "The other day, we were laughing at the rumour. My daughter came and asked, ‘Where is this rumour coming from mumma?' I said 'This rumour came out of the blue”.
What about her elder daughter Jhanvi's Bollywood debut? "You will know when it will happen," said the mother of two. Describing her relationship with her daughters, she said: "I am not possessive, but very protective. We are more like friends, share and discuss everything."
Recently, Sridevi spoke about rejecting Sivagami’s role in the Baahubali franchise. In an interview to a Telugu channel, Sridevi shared her feelings in detail over the controversy for the first time. “I could not be part of many films in my career due to various reasons. But I don’t know why only this film is being talked about. Baahubali part 1 and part 2 came out and both became big hits. And I don’t understand why people still talk about it,” the actress said.
