The much-awaited teaser of Spyder is finally out and, we just can’t seem to keep calm. The spy-thriller directed by A.R. Murugadoss will hit the cinemas on September 30. However, Mahesh Babu has a sweet surprise for his fans today as the South sensation has revealed the first promo of his upcoming film.
The popular face of the Telugu film industry took to his Twitter account to share Sypder teaser. The 1.14-minute teaser shows a creepy crawly spider in a VFX version. And, what’s interesting is that the hi-tech spider gets more space in the teaser than Mahesh himself.
While the actor is clearly a spy who is surrounded by all types of tech, it is the spider who seems to be his friend and powerful help in his chosen occupation. The way it crawls all over Mahesh can actually make you believe that the crawlers are just ideal for sting operations. Here’s the video.
At the moment, the makers of the movie are busy filming the high-octane action-based climax sequence in Chennai. In the movie, Mahesh is portraying the role of an intelligence bureau officer and he has reportedly performed stunts without body doubles.
Spyder’s production designer Rupin Suchak had said, “This man has taken it to another league. There’s a particular sequence where even the stunt doubles were scared of doing it. But Mahesh just went ahead and delivered it,” he said.
The movie is being made on a budget of over Rs 100 crore. Directed by Sreekanth Addala, Brahmotsavam features an ensemble cast of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Pranitha Subhash, Sathyaraj, Rao Ramesh, Naresh, Revathy and Sayaji Shinde among others.
