Sooryavanshi: This BTS picture of Akshay Kumar as Anti Terrorist Squad chief will leave you excited 

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, who were last seen together in Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan, are reuniting after 9 years for Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi. This will be Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar's first movie together and the fourth movie in the director's cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns and Simmba. Today, the makers shared a BTS picture of Akshay Kumar as Anti-Terrorist Squad chief Veer Sooryavanshi on social media, which has got everyone talking.

Taking to his Instagram account, Rohit Shetty shared Akshay Kumar's look for Sooryavanshi with a caption that read, "No Uniforms No Marked Cars ANTI TERRORISM SQUAD - The GHOST department of our Police Force SOORYAVANSHI @akshaykumar"

Sooryavanshi is being produced by Karan Johar. The movie will release on Eid 2020, clashing with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt-starrer Inshallah. Rohit Shetty also announced that he is keen on making a cop drama based on a female police officer and he already has a script in his mind.

Recently Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh came together for an epic Sooryavanshi, Singham, Simmba picture 

Sooryavanshi was announced in a one-of-its-kind manner during the climax of Simmba and is scheduled to hit the theatres on Eid 2020.  On the film front, Katrina Kaif would next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat. Akshay Kumar would next be seen in Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Good News. He is presently also shooting for Laaxmi Bomb, a horror comedy which is supposed to be a remake of Tamil movie Kanchana. 

Akshay Kumar was last seen in Kesari, which is doing massively well at the box office. It has become the fastest film of 2019 to enter the Rs 100 crore club.
