Bollywood actor Sonu Sood’s wax statue was recently unveiled by Minister of State for Home (Urban) Deepak Kesarkar. The wax model will be placed at Sunil’s Celebrity Wax Museum in Mumbai, which also features around 100 statues of eminent personalities from across the globe, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sonu was also present at the unveiling ceremony. Interestingly, he was dressed alike his wax statue wearing a royal blue t-shirt, denims and sporting blue glasses.
Reportedly, it took around three months for the sculptor to complete the model.
Sunil Kandalloor, who happens to be the sculptor and Managing Director of the Sunil's Celebrity Wax Museum, was all praises for the actor.
“Sonu Sood is one of the most experienced and self-made actor who acts in Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu movies,” Sunil said.
It has been around 14 years since Sood made his debut in Bollywood with 2002 release ‘Shaheed-E-Azam’.
Since then, the 43 year-old actor has been a part of several movies. In fact, his role of antagonist Cheddi Singh in Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ and then a concerned brother Sujamal in Hrithik-Aishwarya’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ won him a lot of appreciation.
Sonu Sood was last seen on the silver screen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Happy New Year’ in 2014.
The actor will soon be making his Hollywood debut with Jackie Chan in ‘Kung Fu Yoga’.
Currently, Sonu Sood is busy promoting his forthcoming movie ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’, also starring Prabhu Deva and Tamannah Bhatia. The movie is a horror comedy and is Sonu’s first production venure.
Directed by A. L. Vijay, ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ is scheduled to release on October 7, 2016.
