New Delhi: We have seen many films in Bollywood about male friends going on a road trip and understanding where their lives are heading. It was about time, Bollywood saw a movie showing girls embark on such a similar journey. This idea has quite interested Anil Kapoor’s younger daughter Rhea Kapoor, who has adopted this concept for her maiden directorial venture.
The film titled, ‘Veerey Di Shaadi’ has frozen its cast members. Obviously, Rhea’s darling sister actress Sonam Kapoor is a part of it.
But do you know who else has been roped in? ‘Ki’ Kareena Kapoor.
After playing a doctor taking a strong stand against substance abuse in ‘Udta Punjab’, Kareena’s is giving serious thought to this movie, according to media reports.
The movie revolves around four girls who go on a trip of their lives to find true love. The movie draws similarity from the Hollywood drama – ‘The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants’.

Along with Sonam and Kareena, actresses Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, will complete the group. Swara and Sonam, share a sisterly bond. The two were last seen in superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and prior to that in ‘Raanjhnaa’.
You may know Shikha Talsania as the girl who was best friends with Ranbir Kapoor in the film, ‘Wake up Sid’.
It was being suggested that actress Katrina Kaif, might come on board for this first-of-its-kind movie. However, Kat slipped on the opportunity because she could not speak the Delhi dialect. The role was then passed on to Swara Bhaskar; who has managed to deliver the first solo hit of her career with ‘Nil Battey Sannata’.
