The rumours about Sonam Kapoor’s hush-hush wedding with beau Anand Ahuja is turning out to be true with each passing day. It is being speculated that the Veere Di Wedding actress is getting hitched in May this year. She has neither confirmed nor denied the reports of her wedding, which has further fuelled the rumours. At the trailer launch of Veere Di Wedding, she just dodged the question by saying that everything will be revealed in ‘good time’.

Earlier this month, ace choreographer Farah Khan spilt the beans that she would be choreographing Sonam Kapoor’s Sangeet ceremony. Now, the recent buzz has been suggesting that there won’t be any wedding invitation cards for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding.

According to a BollywoodLife report, Sonam and Anand’s parents have decided to send e-inivitations for the wedding as the couple believes in paper conservation. They find wedding invitation cards a massive waste of paper and we couldn’t agree more. Hence, they have zeroed down on not printing wedding invitation cards for the wedding. They have designed an elegant e-invite which will be sent to their friends and family over the phone.

While we’ve seen many Bollywood couples investing on plush wedding invitation cards, this gesture by Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja is really an inspiration to look out for. Last year, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also went eco-friendly by sending a sapling along with the wedding invitation card.
