Here are seven films to feature in Google 2017 top 10 overall searches; some entries are shocking

Bollywood and cricket are two things that unite India and this has been proved again by 2017 top 10 Google searches.

Google is our one stop solution for everything. From searching coffee shops near our work to learning about GST and Jallikattu, the search giant has answers to all queries. As 2017 is all set to bid adieu, like every year's tradition, Google has released an annual list of popular searches. While some will make you feel nostalgic, other entries might make you wonder, 'why are they in?'. With Bahubali 2 topping the chart, we also have some flop flicks such as Half Girlfriend and Munna Michael in the list. While it is obvious why Bahubali 2 is on the top but finding Munna Michael and Half Girlfriend making it to the top search has left everyone astonished.

2017 saw the 10th edition of Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 10. First introduced in 2007 by BCCI, the tournament had eight teams battling against each other. Mumbai Indians won the final defeating Rising Pune Supergiant by 1 run.

Cricket is above most of the daily stuffs for Indians. With matches going on for almost entire year, live cricket score has to be one of the top Google searches for 2017. We know it would continue to find the spot even in the forthcoming year.

2017 ICC Champions Trophy was also among Google's top 10 searches. The final saw a crushing defeat for Team India by Pakistan. The margin of victory was the largest in any ICC ODI tournament in terms of runs.
