2017 began with the clash of two big films Raees and Kaabil featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan respectively. After that, many films fought the box office battle and now it seems that 2018 is going to be no different. If reports are to be believed, Sidharth Malhotra’s Aiyaary is all set to lock horns with Anushka Sharma’s Pari at the box office. This is likely to be the first box office clash of the year.
Speculations are rife that earlier, Aiyaary was set to clash with Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 but looking at the hype of the film, the makers decided to avert the clash and shifted the release date. However, Anushka had already chosen February 9 for the release of her film. Now, both Aiyaary and Pari will release on February 9.
It is yet to be seen which film manages to attract movie buffs.
Anushka looked totally different in the posters of Pari leaving fans anticipated. This is her second production venture after NH10. Her last film Jab Harry Met Sejal couldn’t do wonders at the box office.
Sid, on the other hand is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Ittefaq alongside Sonakshi Sinha. The movie is all set to hit the screens on November 3.
