Shweta Basu Prasad slams haters: Indian Filmmakers who sell poverty to the West need to bow down to Rajamouli

Telly actress Shweta Basu Prasad has praised filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion and gave a tiff reply to all who criticised the film.

Telly actress Shweta Basu Prasad has praised filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion and gave a tiff reply to all who criticised the film. Baahubali 2 has created tornado at the box office but there were few people who were not impressed with the film.

Shweta in a lengthy Facebook post stated that Baahubali: The Conclusion became successful because the film was completely Indiaan. She added that Indian filmmakers who sell poverty and porns with their films to please the west should learn from Rajamouli, who just trusted his own imagination.

Shweta said that filmmakers should not please the west.

Critics heaped praises on Baahubali: The Conclusion but there were some who thought that the film was far away from reality. Shweta’s post is an apt reply to all the criticisers.

Baahubali: The Conclusion is storming at the box office. The film has broken many records and is all set to make many. It has collected more than Rs 600 crore worldwide. The film stars Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

Shweta currently plays a lead role in Balaji Telefilms high budget historical drama Chandra Nandni. She was also seen in Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath ki Dulhania.
