Shraddha Kapoor with Saina Nehwal parents
Shraddha Kapoor, who is basking in the success of her last release Stree also starring Rajkummar Rao, is all set for her new project. Shraddha will be next seen in Saina Nehwal’s biopic. The actress has already started the shooting for Nehwal’s biopic. And the actress is leaving no stone unturned to step into Saina’s shoes.
She was seen practicing hard to fit into Saina’s role perfectly on-screen. And to know more about Saina, Shraddha recently met the badminton player’s parents at their residence. Shraddha was seen donning a track suit and sports shoes when she came out after meeting Saina’s parents.
Shraddha is all excited for Saina’s biopic and in an interview with Mumbai Mirror recently, she said, “I’m really excited about this film. Saina is the country’s sweetheart, a champion and a youth icon. It’s a challenging role for an actor as it requires an immense amount of transformation.”
Shraddha started the shooting of Saina’s biopic from 22 September. The film will be based on the life of the badminton player. It is directed by Amole Gupte whereas produced by Bhushan Kumar.
