Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor recently amazed fans with the first look from her forthcoming film, which is ace badminton player Saina Nehwal’s biopic. Shraddha even met Saina’s parents recently, before starting the shoot of the film. But per the latest reports, the shooting of Saina's biopic has been stalled as Shraddha has been diagnosed with dengue.
A source in an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, was quoted saying, "Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue. She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days. Meanwhile, Amole continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists."
The film producer, Bhushan Kumar, talking to Mumbai Mirror revealed that Shraddha is not doing well and her hectic work schedule can be the reason of this. He also said that the team members are empathising with her situation and they will inform soon when is Shraddha going to return to work.

Interestingly, Shraddha has series of films projects in her kitty. Recently, she was seen in Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree and Shahid Kapoor and Yami Gautam starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Meanwhile, Shraddha has also been busy in the shooting Baahubali star Prabhas starrer Saaho.

Shraddha has been training hard to fit into Saina’s character in the film. She had begun training under the guidance of former badminton player Pullela Gopichand.
Saina’s biopic is directed by Amole Gupte.
