New Delhi: Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been one of the perfect couple of tinselvile. The couple has been married since November 2009 and have complemented each other well in every sense.
However, it’s been a while the reports of rift between Shilpa and Raj have been doing the rounds.
It was reported that the couple is going through a rough phase and are planning to part ways.
While Shilpa’s Instagram posts with hubby on her birthday had squashed the rumours of any rift between the couple, the diva thought to clear the air in person too.
“It is complete rubbish. I don’t even know where these rumours came from. I believe in the institution of marriage, and I love my husband. Many of my relatives from London, UK, called up, and they were really worried about these rumours. They were going through all the news channels back home… There has to be a line drawn somewhere. If journalists hit us below the belt, it hurts, because we are only humans. Whoever put out that article should have at least cross-checked. It’s unfair to us,” Shilpa told a leading daily.
Earlier, Raj Kundra too had denied reports of separation saying, “Shilpa is my princess so I have to look after her well.”
Well, this must have brought a sigh of relief for all Shilpa Shetty fans.
