New Delhi: With so many controversies brewing around Kangana Ranaut, the diva has become the hot topic for the entertainment portals.

It started with a war of words with Hrithik Roshan, which turned into an ugly legal battle where the two actors made weird allegations against each other.

While their fight was getting murkier, there came another startling twist with the entry of Kangana’s former boyfriend Adhyayan Suman who revealed shocking details about the diva.

Indeed his explosive interview created a lot of buzz. While Kangana’s legal team has called Adhyayan’s allegations as one sided, Shekhar Suman came out in defence of his son.

The veteran actor justified Adhyayan’s allegations and reportedly claimed that the ‘Queen’ actress did perform black magic.

Shekhar also questioned that why is Adhyayan’s interview being termed as a publicity stunt, while the same didn’t happen with Deepika Padukone who too spoke about her depression earlier.

“He is hardly going to land a film with James Cameron because he spoke about his affair with Kangana. Seriously, why do people view everything as `it’s being done for publicity?’ I guess people are harsh on him because he is not successful today . When Deepika Padukone comes out and speaks of her depression, it is not viewed as she is `doing it for publicity .’ She is a hugely successful star and so her action doesn’t seem to have any ulterior motive. But when our son speaks, his action comes with a tag. Really? Adhyayan may not be `somebody’ today , but you must grant the fact that he is a normal guy .If he was hurt, he has a right to speak about it. This right to speak is not reserved only for superstars and National Award-winning actors. Please note, our son did not call the media and said, ‘I want to talk about Kangana.’ He only did so, when a journalist came and asked him to,” Shekhar told an entertainment portal.

The supportive father also justified Adhyayan’s interview saying, “It was his way of laying his past demons to rest. In fact, the interview was disturbing for us as well.”

Shekhar Suman also clarified that this controversy with Kangana Ranaut is not a gender war.

“Let’s not have a gender war. Let’s be honest about who is the perpetrator and who is the victim,” Shekhar tweeted.

Though, he did take a firm stance that he would do anything to protect his family. “I will protect and support my family till my last breath,” Shekhar stated.
