Ever since Prime Minister Narendrs Modi has intiated the campaign #Sandesh2Soldiers, several B-town celebs have come forward to send out messages to the Indian soldiers on Diwali.
From Salman Khan to Akshay Kumar, several celebs have lent their support to this noble intiative.
And now the recent one to join the league is superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who wrote a special poem for all the brave hearts protecting the country.
He took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the message, in a one minute video where he not just sung praises for the Indian soldiers, but express his gratitude to them for serving the country selflessly.
The poem goes like: "Our feet on carpet, their boots on ground. Our days are steady, theirs, new challenges unravel. Our nights blissful, theirs, stressful. It's our life to live because it's theirs to give. The heroes should not remain unsung because we can't imagine their plight. We grow stronger and bolder because theirs is the fight. The fight of a soldier."
Interestingly, SRK too began his career with a role of an Indian soldier in television series ‘Fauji’. He was also seen as an Army officer in Yash Raj’s 2012 release ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’.
