Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 51st birthday on Wednesday. The actor, who enjoys a huge fan base, was poured in with love and best wishes from across the world.
Renowned Hollywood director Paul Feig, known for his movies ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Spy’, also posted an adorable message for the ‘amazing’ star on Twitter on his 51st birthday.
Paul wrote, "Happy Birthday to our friend, the amazing Shah Rukh Khan! May your day be filled with laughter, music and cake. Lots of cake. Oh, and fries too".
The Hollywood filmmaker had earlier admitted that he is quite fond of Shah Rukh and would like to direct him some day.
Interestingly, not just Paul, but his wife Laurie also admired the ‘Badshah’ Khan.
In fact, being a complete Bollywood fanatic, she is a huge fan of SRK movies. Certainly, she couldn’t afford to miss a chance to wish her favourite star on his birthday and took it to Twitter to send her best wishes.
"Good morning India, it is Shah Rukh Khan's birthday! Hoping your day is as sunny and glorious as his. Wishing him health, happiness always. Thrills, king," Laurie tweeted.
Earlier, Laurie had expressed her dersire to meet SRK after he hosted a party for Apple CEO Tim Cook during his India visit in May. Laurie had stated that she wish her hubby Paul was invited to Mannat some day.
To this, Shah Rukh had reverted saying that Paul and his wife are whole-heartedly welcomed to Mannat whenever they visit India.
Apart from Paul Feig, several celebs like Sachin Tendulkar, Farah Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez etc also wished the superstar a year full of success, love and happiness.
