Actor Shahid Kapoor, who will be essaying Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer film, has already started sword training. Shahid’s pics in which he can be seen doing sword training for the film has been leaked on online platform by few of the fans pages.
In the pic, Shahid can be seen training hard and learning different form of sword fighting arts. According to the sources, Shahid is currently taking as many as six different form of sword fighting training from six different trainers.
As per the reports of the Mid Day, ‘’Rajputana style of sword-fighting is an evolved one, which requires the body to be both strong and agile at the same time. Shahid has been taught bits of Gatka, a mix of Angampora and Kalaripayattu. He is also learning spearplay, as the spear is a customary weapon among Rajputs.”
In Padmavati, Shahid will be playing Rani Padmavati that is Deepika’s husband character. The character of Deepika was earlier offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while Ranveer’s character was offered to Salman Khan, but they refused to do it.
