Shahid Kapoor starts shooting for Arjun Reddy remake
Bollywood diva Kiara Advani and handsome hunk Shahid Kapoor have already weaved the magic of their scintillating chemistry onscreen with their latest song Urvashi. It is hard to miss their sizzling camaraderie in the song as well as their swift moves. Kiara and Shahid will also be sharing screen space in the upcoming film Arjun Reddy remake which has gone on floors today.
While Kiara Advani is still to join the cast of the film, she has excitedly announced that the film hit the floors today and also wished the team and her lead hero Shahid Kapoor with a sizzling picture of them and an adorable post. Taking to Twitter, Kiara shared a still from their song Urvashi and captioned it as, “#WaitForIt This is NOT a still from the Arjun Reddy remake but our film shoot begins today!???? wishing the team an amazinggg start!!! All the best @shahidkapoor @imvangasandeep @ashwinvarde @TSeries @MuradKhetani and team #ArjunReddy can’t wait to join you’ll super soon.”

Going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror, it is said that the film will start filming the second half first. “The shoot is starting with the second half of the story and the opening scene will see Shahid biking with his friends. For another portion of the film, that will also be shot in the city, he will be training in football for some crucial sequences,” a source told the publication.
The film narrates the story of a medical student who falls in love with his junior, and goes on to show how their relationship evolves. Shahid Kapoor earlier while talking about how he is preparing for the role said, "At the moment, I am growing a beard. We were considering to start shooting this month but the director wants my beard to grow more."
“I usually don’t watch too many films in Telugu and it surprised me with its tonality, rawness, simplicity and the fact that it was so real and believable. The character is very fascinating for me as an actor because the emotional arc… is very original. I loved it and Vijay Deverakonda, who played Arjun, did it so well,” he added.
