After getting a new release date just a few days ago, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's upcoming comedy-drama Batti Gul Meter Chalu has been postponed yet again. The movie which was slated to release on September 14, will now hit the big screens on September 21 this year.
The news was shared by film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, who tweeted, "Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam... #BattiGulMeterChalu, which was slated for release on 14 Sept 2018, will now release on 21 Sept 2018... Directed by Shree Narayan Singh."
The actors have wrapped up the shooting of the film with a dance number shot at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. The song has been choreographed by renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya and sung by Mika Singh.
'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is about bringing the social issue of electricity shortage to the notice of people and to encourage authorities to investigate the inaccuracies of electricity bills.
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film also features Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. The first of both the actress has been revealed.
