Actor Shahid Kapoor is taking lessons in sword fighting as well as horse riding for his upcoming film "Padmavati", says a source.
In the much-talked about project directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shahid will essay the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. To perfect the role of the king of the bygone era, Shahid is undergoing sword fighting and horse riding training.
A source close to Shahid told IANS that the actor has hired a personal trainer to learn sword fighting and horse riding. He added that Shahid wants to do all he can to bring authenticity to his portrayal. The source went on to reveal that Shahid shoots in the nights and takes lessons in the day.
The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
