New Delhi: Actor Shahid Kapoor has always been quite experimental with his looks. The actor who had once sported the chocolate boy look, turned dapper with moustache in ‘Mausam’. His edgy look with long unkempt hair for ‘Kaminey’ and his bald look in ‘Haider’ also bagged a lot of attention.
The last we saw him was in a snazzy hairdo and sexy stubble for ‘Shandaar’. And now he has once again changed his looks for ‘Udta Punjab’.
Shahid plays the role of rockstar Tommy Singh in ‘Udta Punjab’ and is seen sporting long hair, beard and moustache for his character along with some tattoos.
While everyone just loves this new look of Shahid, there was this one person who was totally surprised by his looks.
This man was Shahid Kapoor’s father-in-law.
According to the media reports, the first time the ‘Shandaar’ actor went to meet Mira Rajput’s father, he was sporting his ‘Udta Punjab’ look - long hair, loose rockstar t-shirt, shorts and boots. Mira’s father was pleasantly surprised by the actor’s appearance.
“Shahid first met Mira’s father at the Delhi farmhouse when he was in the attire of his look for his forthcoming film. It was great to see Mira’s father reaction on it,” Shahid’s spokesperson told a leading daily.
He also added that is was later that Mira’s father learned that Shahid was “absorbing” the character of Tommy Singh.
Currently, Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of ‘Udta Punjab’, which is slated to hit the screens on June 17.
