New Delhi: Actors Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan sharing the screen space for the first time in ‘Rangoon’, came as a surprise for the entire film industry and also for the cine buffs. Directed by ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, ‘Rangoon’ is set against the backdrop of World War 2 and also features actress Kangana Ranaut.
Despite Shahid and Saif’s regular statements that there is no bad blood between them, their new developed bond doesn’t fail to perplex gossipmongers. Time and again the two have been questioned if they felt uncomfortable shooting, since Shahid had once dated Saif’s wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Looks like, Shahid has found a really smart answer to all these questions. During his interview to a leading daily, when Shahid was quizzed about the ‘affair’, he quipped,
“Saif and I never had an affair… Thank God! For the sake of girls.”

Sasha then went on to say,
“One can’t live with baggage, it bogs you down. We learn our lessons in life and move ahead… at one point of time all of us become mature enough and shed that baggage. Life is too short and beautiful to hold on to unnecessary baggage.”
With this statement, Shahid has managed to give lessons on moving on.
Maybe it is this letting go of past attitude of Shahid, which is why he had no qualms while working on the same film as ex flame Kareena. After ‘Jab We Met’ which released in 2008, Shahid and Bebo came together for ‘Udta Punjab’, a movie on substance abuse which got brilliant reviews from critics and viewers.
