New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his movies have given several memorable songs to the audience. In fact, there are some that we can never get over of.

One such song is ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ from ‘Dil Se’. Remember how SRK along with Malaika Arora made our hearts race faster with their high-energy dance moves on top of a moving train?

Well, that song was indeed remarkable and is still everyone’s favourite. Now, after almost two decades, this foot-tapping ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ number is all set to be recreated. And SRK’s role will be played by the dancing star of B-town Shahid Kapoor.

Yes! It’s true.

As per the media reports, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut will be seen dancing to the tunes of the contemporary version of ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ in their upcoming movie ‘Rangoon’.

“It was Vishal and Farah’s idea to set the song on a train. It spans a day and night.” a source was reported saying.

Interestingly, a six bogey train was created for filming the song.

“It was filmed over four days, the actors had rehearsed for a week before facing the camera,” the source added.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, ‘Rangoon’ will have Shahid Kapoor in the role of a soldier. The movie also stars Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan and is expected to hit the screens on September 30 this year.
