New Delhi: ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ has been one of the popular dance base reality show featuring celebrities. The show has a great impact on the TRP of the channel.
The last season of the show bagged a lot of attention and the reason was Shahid Kapoor.
The ‘Shandaar’ actor made his television debut as he became the judge for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8.
While the show is all set to start with its ninth season, reports are rife that Shahid will not be a part of the show any more.
Indeed, it is a huge disappointment for his fans. On the other hand, if the gossip mongers, are to be believed the makers are looking for a replacement and has reportedly short listed two young actors.
According to the media reports, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan are the top contenders for the hot seat. Both the actors have a mass appeal and have great dancing skills and are more likely to enhance the TRP of the show.
While the channel has not finalised any name yet, neither Ranveer nor Varun has said any word about it.
Currently, Ranveer Singh is busy with Aditya Chopra’s ‘Befikre’, while Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of ‘Dishoom’.
