Shutterbugs managed to click the first picture of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s little princess on Sunday, two days after the high profile couple was blessed with the baby girl on Friday.
Though Shahid and Mira are yet to share the picture of the little angle, but the media caught the glimpse of the baby when new dad Shahid was seen holding his daughter wrapped in a flower printed blanket as he walked out of the Hinduja hospital.
The actor had gone to the hospital to take his wife and little princess home on Sunday.
The news of arrival of the baby was broke by Shahid himself, who took it to micro blogging site Twitter to share the moment of joy,
“She has arrived and words fall short to express our happiness. Thank you for all your wishes”.
Indeed, Shahid is over the moon with the arrival of this little bundle of joy. The couple is getting congratulatory messages for across the country, including Bollywood fraternity.
On the other hand, the entire Kapoor family just can’t stop gushing over this new addition to their family.
Shahid’s mother Neelima Azim was quoted saying, “This is the first baby. I am a new grandmother. This is a new phase and I can’t explain how it feels like. I really wanted a granddaughter, so I am absolutely thrilled and I feel so blessed. I have two sons and now I have a granddaughter”.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput had got married in July 2015. This is the couple’s first child.
