Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is basking in the success of his latest release Padmaavat but it seems that people have to wait little longer to watch superstar Shah Rukh Khan working with him again. Yes, last year, SRK revealed in an interview that he had been offered two scripts by Bhansali and he was not sure which movie he was going to do. Now, according to a source of a leading daily DNA, the actor-director duo met several times to discuss scripts but SRK has politely turned down Bhansali’s offer.
The source further added that this has not affected their friendship as both of them are very professional. They have even decided to work together soon. Well, people are eagerly waiting to see both of them creating Devdas magic once again.
Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that the role of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat was first offered to SRK before Ranveer Singh. However, due to some reasons, he couldn’t do the film.
On the professional front, SRK is occupied with the work of his upcoming film Zero. The Anand L Rai’s directorial venture also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles. The superstar will be seen playing the role of a dwarf in the movie. Bhansali’s Padmaavat featuring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor has crossed Rs 200 cr mark at the box office.
