Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Jab harry Met Sejal, has clarified that he is not in talks for a film with filmmaker Karan Johar. Ever since the superstar played a cameo in Ae Dil hai Mushkil, it was being speculated the SRK will soon collaborate with Karan for a film. Reports were doing rounds that SRK had been approached for a film alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
SRK stated that the director has not approached him for any film. He last talked him for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and before it Karan even came to him with a script that he was not directing. The actor nodded to hear it but few days later Karan called him saying that he has dropped the plan of doing that film as it was too expensive.
This is indeed a sad news for all those who were rooting to see the duo of Karan and SRK together.
SRK will be seen sharing the screen space for the third time with actress Anushka Sharma in Jab Harry Met Sejal. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie is slated to release on August 4. He will also play the protagonist in Anand L. Rai’s untitled project.
