New Delhi: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to woo fans this Friday, as his highly anticipated movie ‘Fan’ will hit the theatres. Thanks to Shah Rukh’s double role, the movie has created quite a buzz around it.
While speaking to India TV, Shah Rukh Khan made a startling revelation. He said that ‘Fan’ is actually a love story.
“People keep telling me that I work on only love stories. Sorry to disappoint you but this one too is a love tale. Just a different kind,” told SRK.
He went on,
“Unconditional love is rare these days. We always want result from love but the Gaurav loves Aryan knowing that his love won’t see a happy ending, yet he gives in everything.”
King Khan also said that he won’t ever be able to love someone like this. He asserted,
“Fan is about unfinished relationships and unconditional love.”

The trailer of the movie put the look alike fan, Gaurav Chanana in a bad spot, somewhere. Though critics welcomed his role with open arms, his dark shades might not leave a good impact on people; something, which SRK doesn’t want.
He said,
“After viewers leave theatres I want them to take both the characters with dignity. Each of them has their own story.”
Doling out secrets on how he prepared for the role, Shah Rukh says essaying Aryan was difficult, Gaurav easier.
“I am a romantic person, so could very well play the Delhi-based boy. In case of Aryan, differentiating him from me was a challenge,” explained Shah Rukh.

Shah Rukh who enjoys a fan following spanning in billions spoke in detail why people become fans?
“You become a fan because you feel that the person is close to you or because you want to be that person.”
While SRK must be keenly waiting for the response from viewers, he has already got thumbs up from his kids. While speaking to India TV, SRK said,
“My kids said they are really proud of me after watching the movie. But then, they are my family and they can have a biased opinion. I hope the viewers feel the same way as my kids did after watching the movie.”
