Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal, has condemned the recent terrorist attack on Amarnath pilgrims. He called it most unfortunate adding that these kinds of attacks won’t lessen the religious belief of followers. Earlier many B-town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor and Anupam Kher have condemned the attack and also expressed their anger over it on social media.
Terrorists killed seven Amarnath pilgrims, including six women, and injured 19 others as they struck at a bus in Kashmir's Anantnag district, in the worst attack on the annual pilgrimage since the year 2001.
"Such kind of attacks will not lessen the religious belief of followers, but further strengthen it. Such incidents are highly condemnable," the actor told reporters here.
Shah Rukh was in Punjab to shoot a song for his upcoming film "Jab Harry Met Sejal".
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the romantic drama also stars actress Anushka Sharma. The movie is slated to release on August 4.
