Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol weave magic every time they appear on the silver screen. They are one of the finest on-screen pairs, and in real life SRK-Kajol are best buddies.
However, Shah Rukh was not very fond of Kajol when he started working with her. SRK, reportedly, even warned Aamir Khan to not to work with this dusky beauty.
Shah Rukh himself confessed this while recalling his initial days during an interview with an entertainment portal.
He said, “When I was working with her (Kajol) in Baazigar, Aamir asked me about her as he wanted to work with her. I left him a message saying, ‘She is very bad, no focus, you will not be able to work with her’. And then I saw the rushes in the evening. I kept calling Aamir to clarify. I told him, ‘I don’t know what it is but she is magical on the screen’”.

Hush! It is one shocking revelation coming from the King Khan.
Though, interestingly it raises the curiosity about how the ice melted between the actors and the friendship began.
Kajol revealed the back story and said, “I remember Shah Rukh and other actors had a huge hangover when they came on the sets and I was jabbering away in Marathi to his make-up guy. They were like ‘what is that voice. It is going to split open our heads’. He was very grumpy but I kept chatting and finally he said, ‘Will you please shut up… chup ho jao’. I think that’s how we became friends.”
Shah Rukh and Kajol have come a long way since their first flick ‘Baazigar’. Till now, they have share screen space in six movies and their sizzling chemistry on the celluloid remains unbeatable.
SRK-Kajol’s latest outing ‘Dilwale’ didn’t work wonders at the box office but their romantic pairing was highly appreciated.
