The third franchise of the Sarkar series titled ‘Sarkar 3’ will now hit the screens on April 7. The movie featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan was previously slated to release on March 17.
The change in the release date was announced on Tuesday.
Presented by Eros International and produced by Allumbra Entertainment, Wave Cinemas and AB Corp, "Sarkar 3" is the third film in Varma's "Sarkar" series.
"Sarkar", which released in 2005, is set in the world of Indian politics. Its sequel "Sarkar Raj" hit the screens in 2008.
Previously, Amitabh Bachchan was seen in Twitter conversation with Kamal R Khan talking about the trailer of the movie. The latter appreciated the trailer of the film and Big B thanked him for that.
‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sarkar 2’ received good response from the audience.
"Sarkar 3" will see Amitabh reprising his role as Subhash Nagre. The film will also feature Rohini Hattangadi, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy, Bharat Dabholkar, Yami Gautam and Amit Sadh.
