New Delhi: ‘Sarbjit’ has been one most talked about movies of the year. The movie is a biopic based on an Indian farmer who wanders into Pakistan and becomes the victim of mistaken identity for over two decades.
The movie is indeed getting rave views from the audience though it has not achieved much success on the box office.
However, one of its casts made it to the headlines but not for the good reasons.
We are talking about Rich Chadha who reportedly stated that she has been the victim of sloppy editing. The actress played the role of Sarbjit’s wife and feels that many important scenes played by her were cut from the movie.
Her statement grabbed a lot of criticism. However, soon the ‘Masaan’ actress came up with a clarification over her statement in a series of tweets.
Richa stated that the movie has been a complete team work and that everyone’s role was edited.
The diva also urged people not to hype the matter unnecessarily.
Directed by Omung Kumar, ‘Sarbjit’ featured Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead role. The movie has collected just Rs 16.05 crore in four days at the box office.
