New Delhi: Sitcom ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ can be referred to as one of the biggest hits of Indian television industry. While fans of this sitcom have been eagerly since 2005 for a second season, there might finally be some good news for them. Reportedly, SVS might be back with a second season.
The show's producer J.D. Majethia took to his Twitter account and posted a teaser with a group photograph of the show's entire cast.
“Sarabhai family at Satish-ji 's place... Some good news for fans on its way,” Majethia tweeted in an apparent hint that the show may be back soon.
The show which featured a quintessential upper-class family residing in Mumbai, took the comedy scene on television by storm when it started. It established a cult following.
Directed by Deven Bhojani, “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai” had a stellar cast, boasting actors like Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly, Rajesh Kumar, Arvind Vaidya and Rita Bhaduri.
Each character of the serial built a string fan base for themselves. The people, who religiously followed the show, loved Maya Sarabhai’s classy rants, Monisha’s middle class behaviour, Sahil’s sensibilities, Roshesh’s senselessness and Indravadhan’s sense of humour.
