It is natural for yesteryear actress Amrita Singh and mother of debutante Sara Ali Khan to get angry on director Abhishek Kapoor over what has happened recently. Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor’s fallout with KriArj producers Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor has taken a legal turn. Reports are also saying that the future of Kedarnath featuring Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput seems uncertain. Also, sources have revealed that Abhishek Kapoor has also tried to pressurize the studio into not signing Sara Ali Khan for another film. Thus, mother Amrita Singh is furious beyond limits.

According to SpotboyE, Amrita Singh is worried about her talented daughter’s career. It’s her debut film and if the filmmakers are dragging the matter to court, then Kedarnath will be shelved.

A source told DNA, “When Gattu called Dingy (Amrita) to tell her about his decision to fly solo with Kedarnath and only getting a big studio on board for the release, Amrita completely lost her cool with him. A heated argument took place between the two."

The feud began when Abhishek Kapoor went against the will of producers and announcing the release date of Kedarnath which was clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. Later, the producers slammed Abhishek for taking such a major discussion without having their say.

An inside source told Times Now, “Despite investing a huge sum of funding into the project, Kedarnath was going way overbudget owing to Gattu's (Abhishek Kapoor's) constant unreasonable demands. He not only delayed the shoot of the film by six months but also majorly interfered in the film's financial planning and overall business workings.”

When Mumbai Mirror questioned Abhishek Kapoor over the delayed shooting of Kedarnath, he quipped, “here were torrential rains in November, which is why shooting had to be pushed ahead. For the film to resume rolling this April, we have already begun work on the set this month. That is the scale of this film. There are so many careers at stake and we are working very hard to see it through. Any other comments regarding fallouts with the crew are rubbish."

It is still uncertain if Kedarnath will release this year or not. The war between director Abhishek Kapoor and the production house have taken an ugly turn, for sure. Abhishek Kapoor might need an NOC from the producers to release the film.
