Sanjay Dutt fans have been eagerly waiting for the upcoming biopic Sanju. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, the film's new song Ruby Ruby is out with an audio file and, the bass undertones in the audio track are phenomenal. The song is sung by Shashwat Singh and Poorvi Koutish and lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. The song though has Ruby Ruby sung throughout for the most part of the song, certainly has takes a turn from a general major chord combination which expected given its an A.R. Rahman music composition.
The film's director Rajkummar Hirani shared the link of the track on his official Twitter account on Wednesday.
"And here is the song composed by A.R. Rahman and written by Irshad Kamil for 'Sanju' song 'Ruby Ruby'," Hirani tweeted along with a poster look of the track where Ranbir, who essays Sanjay in the film, is holding the guitar.
Laced with all the elements of 1980s' music, the track has been sung by Shashwat Singh and Poorvi Koutish.
Sung by Shashwat Singh and Poorvi Koutish, and written by Irshad Kamil, 'Ruby Ruby' is an intoxicating number which definitely takes you back to the Rahman who gave us 'Ishq Shava' and 'Mukkala Mukaabla' in the past.
Sanju also features Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal among others. The film is set to release on June 29.
