Sanju Box Office Collection Day 6, The Rajkumar Hirani film earns Rs 186.41 crore: Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani and actor Ranbir Kapoor are weaving magic with Sanju. The Sanjay Dutt biopic is not only raking in the moolah but also shattering several records at the box office each day. After emerging as the highest opener of 2018, creating history by recording the highest single day collection, and entering the glorious Rs 100 crore club, Sanju is slowly and steadily racing towards the Rs 200 crore mark.
The Bollywood film Sanju, which hit the cinemas on June 29, has earned a massive total of Rs 167.51 crore in five days of its release.
Now, the film has earned Rs 18.90 crore on the sixth day of its release, taking the grand total to around Rs 186.41 crore. Some have even said that Sanju may as well enter the coveted Rs 200 crore club by tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Ranbir Kapoor film has grossed Rs 209.38 crore (nett Rs 167.51 crore) in India and Rs 55 crore at the overseas box office. Sanju currently stands with the grand total of Rs 264.38 crore at the worldwide box office. The film is all set to enter the Rs 300 crore club by the end of its opening week at the box office.
Like other Hirani films,Sanju is also making its mark at the international box office. In a list, compiled by comScore, of top 20 movies at US and Canadian theatres from Friday to Sunday Sanju stood at the 8th spot.
Besides Ranbir Kapoor, Sanju boasts of a huge star cast including Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, Boman Irani, Dia Mirza, Jim Sarbh, Sayaji Shinde and Sonam Kapoor.
Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios, Sanju released last Friday on June 29.
