Sanju Box Office Collection Day 30:

Bollywood film Sanju is dominating the box-office even in the fifth week of its release. This Ranbir Kapoor starrer biopic on Sanjay Dutt hit the cinemas on June 29 and, since then it has been winning hearts all over.  The audience has lapped up the Rajkumar Hirani directorial film irrespective of new release such as Dhadak and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3

The Sanjay Dutt biopic is a massive hit that has waltzed into the Rs 300 crore club, leaving the lifetime business of 3 Idiots far behind when it crossed the Rs 200 crore mark. Its remarkable run at the box office continues with its total collection at Rs 337.28 crore.

The latest Sanju Box Office Collection is only a little behind the Salman Khan film Tiger Zinda Hai and Aamir Khan’s PK. Tiger Zinda Hai ended its theatrical run at Rs 339.16 crore and PK earned Rs 340.8 crore. Sanju should overcome these films in the next few days.

As the film surpasses several milestones, it remains to be seen if Sanju manages to collect more than Rajkumar Hirani’s highest grosser, PK. Or even Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which remains the biggest grosser in Hindi language after Baahubali.

Sanju stars Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay, and Paresh Rawal as his father, veteran actor Sunil Dutt, while the rest of the cast is filled out by Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, and Boman Irani, each of whom play an integral part of Sanjay's past and present.

Advance bookings for the biopic started almost a month ago on ticket aggregators like BookMyShow, and others, and the anticipation was seemingly justified with the first day's collection.
