Actor Sanjay Dutt rang in his 57th birthday yesterday with a lavish party. His wife Manyata threw a bash in which she invited Sanjay’s close friends and family. Though, this celebration was devoid of Bollywood celebrities, seems Sanjay is not complaining as he wants to be with his kids.
Speaking about his birthday plans, Sanjay told a leading daily,
“Yes, my last few birthdays were in jail. My wife and sisters would come to meet me but I missed my kids because I didn't want them to come there. So this time, I want to be with them and have a lot of fun.”
Good point, Sanjay!
The ‘Munnabhai’ actor earlier this February walked out as a free man from Yerwada prison after completing his 42 months long sentence. He was sent to prison under Arms Act and it was only in February that his ordeal which lasted almost more than two decades ended.
Talking about his childhood birthdays, Sanjay said
“As a kid, my birthdays were always special. Later, I celebrated my 50th birthday in South Africa.”
This year, Sanjay got an AUDI Q7 as a gift from his wife Manyata.
On the work front, Sanjay will soon be collaborating with Mahesh Manjerakar for 'De Dhakka' remake. The film will go on floors next year. 'De Dhakka' is originally a Marathi comedy movie about the emotional journey of a family. Sanjay and Manjrekar have previously worked together in the super hit film ‘Vaastav: The Reality’ where they created magic on the silver screen and are looking forward to work together after a long gap.
