Ever since the release of actor Sanjay Dutt from jail this year, there have been reports about his biopic going on the floor.
It has been reported the yet-to-be named biopic is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani and will have Ranbir Kapoor essaying Sanjay Dutt’s character.
Lately, there was a buzz that the ‘Munnabhai’ actor is training junior Kapoor for his biopic.
However, Dutt has rubbished the reports of giving inputs to RK.
“As of now there is no training or tips that I have given to Ranbir (Kapoor). I am not giving him any training for the film. Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) is there so he will take care of everything properly,” Sanjay Dutt said.
The 57-year-old actor was released in February after serving his sentence in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.
Ranbir Kapoor was roped in by Rajkumar Hirani for a biopic on Sanjay Dutt. We haven’t seen Ranbir for quite a while on big screen. His last movie Bombay Velvet failed to impress the audience. Ranbir badly needs a hit movie. His movie with Katrina Kaif has also been delayed due to some reasons. His fans are eagerly awaiting for his next movie.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt celebrated his 57th birthday recently. The actor also said that the much-anticipated third part of the successful franchise Munnabhai will release in 2018. At a media interaction on the occasion of his 57th birthday, Sanjay said, “My movie with (Vidhu) Vinod Chopra sahab will start in November, it is called Marco. And after that, I am doing a film with Mahesh Manjrekar, it is a remake of De Dhakka, and then there is a good line-up of movies.”
