Nargis Fakhri was last seen in 2016 flick Banjo and since then the actress has been away from screen. However, she is quite active on social media and it was there, we saw her pictures from the sets of 5 Weddings, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Now, there is a news which will make her fans cheer. The actress has bagged an important role in Torbaaz, opposite none other than Sanjay Dutt.
Nargis will be seen playing the role of an Afghani who runs an NGO, while Sanjay will essay the character of a soldier. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm the new. ''Nargis Fakhri to star as an Afghan girl who runs an NGO in Sanjay Dutt starter #Torbaaz… Directed by Girish Malik and produced by Rahul Mittra… Presented by Raju Chadha of Wave Group,'' he wrote.
Torbaaz revolves around the stories of child suicide bombers who are brainwashed in such a way that they think killing is a virtue. Earlier, Sanju said, ''I am keen to be a part of films that are highly content driven. I want to create a memorable slate of films for my fans.'' Interestingly, the movie will also have a song penned by Sanjay, titled, ''O Meri Aangan Ki Chidiya Hai Tu'' which is about father-daughter's relationship. Sanjay wrote five songs during his stay in Yerwada jail.
Sanjay Dutt made his comeback with Bhoomi, co-starring Aditi Rao Hydari, which received a lukewarm response. Currently, the actor is shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
