Salman Khan's popular track Radio from his latest release Tubelight now has an Arabic version by Middle Eastern singer-songwriter Douzi. Sony Music Middle East released the Arabic version on Wednesday, read a statement. Douzi has performed at many international concerts.The original song Radio is composed by Pritam and sung by Kamaal Khan and Amit Mishra.
"Radio has an ability to create an instant liking amongst fans. When the song was released with a grand event in Dubai, we knew we must create an Arabic version. Douzi's voice is apt for the song and will definitely connect to all his fans in the Middle East," said Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director at Sony Music India.
On a related note, Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are all set for an upcoming project, latest buzz suggests. The highlight is that Salman is said to be playing a senior citizen role in the untitled film. The new Salman-Kabir project will apparently require the Sultan star to age from 40 to 75.
The film will be more daringly unconventional and un-Salman, according to a Deccan Chronicle report. The report further suggested that a source close to Bhai revealed that the Dabangg actor is not really bothered about critics.
Tubelight is set against the backdrop of 1962 Indo-China war. Lakshman Singh Bisht (Salman) is called Tubelight because he gets things slow. He believes that faith can even move mountains. His brother Bharat (Sohail) goes on a war and didn't return. But, Lakshman has the belief that he will come back. Will the innocent man find his brother? To solve the mystery, you have to rush to the cinemas.
