Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Tubelight’ has been the talk of the town since it was announced.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie will be his third project with Salman after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
What else has been creating a buzz about ‘Tubelight’ is the lead actress of the movie.
So far, it was speculated that Katrina Kaif or Deepika Padukone might be romancing Salman Khan in the movie.
However, these reports turned out to be mere rumours as the makers have now finally zeroed in on a foreign actress for ‘Tubelight’.
According to the media reports, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu has been roped in opposite Salman Khan.
In fact, the first pic of this new jodi, from the sets of ‘Tubelight’ in Ladakh, is also going viral on the social media.
The pic was shared by Zhu Zhu herself on her Instagram and Twitter accounts with a caption, “On top of the palace with Mr #Salmankhan @Leh Ladakh”. However, she later removed the pic.
Zhu Zhu is a well-known international actress, popular for her performances in ‘What Women Want’, ‘Marco Polo’ and ‘Shanghai Calling’ among others.
If the reports are to be believed, the actress even flew down to Mumbai earlier this month to take few lessons in Hindi. She later joined the team of ‘Tubelight’ in Ladakh for the shoot on August 8.
‘Tubelight’ is said to be based on the 1962 Indo-Sino War and is expected to release on Eid next year.
