New Delhi: Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Sultan’ has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year.
The movie, featuring Salman in the role of a wrestler, has raised the excitement level amongst the audience, since the release of trailer.
It was stated so far that ‘Sultan’ will release on Eid next month. However, no official date was announced by the makers, till now.
But now the movie has finally got a release date.
‘Sultan’ will hit the theatres on July 6.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the ‘Sultan’ confirming the release date.
Since July 6 happens to be a Wednesday, ‘Sultan’ will enjoy a 5-day opening weekend which means the movie might have a record-smashing weekend!
Taran Adarsh also tweeted about the advance booking of ‘Sultan’ which will commence from July 3rd.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie revolves around Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, and his quest to prove himself after hitting rock bottom in his career.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Sultan’ also stars Anushka Sharma as Aarfa.
